To perform a SCR as a halfwave rectifier with resistive inductive load. First of connect all the component as shown in the figure. Use current probe for current waveform. Use BT150 or BT 151 scr , which are mostly used in the market. 

              


How to set firing angle for 1 phase full wave rectifier circuit in multisim ?

First of all find source frequency? here it is 60 Hz.
so total time period for one cycle is 1/60=0.016666 sec
and total degree for one cycle is 360 degree.


Consider 360 degree=0.01666 sec

For positive cycle to set 30 degree 360/12=30 degree same thing 0.016666/12=0.0013888888 sec.


Put this value as a delay angle in V2 pulse generator.

For negative cycle to set firing angle = 30 degree we have to set it delay angle = 180+30= 210

So that set delay angle= 0.009716 second in V3 pulse generator.

After that we can get the circuit output across RL load in Oscilloscope.

If you want to change firing angle then you can change by above calculation. But one thing you have to remember is that you have to set it in both pulse generator.
